Collectible bears from Steiff
We all had a favorite stuffed animal over when we were young and adults, this taste of our plush toys inspired us to become collectors of them, especially those made by Steiff.
Stuffed animals that are in great condition are sought after by collectors at auctions and fairs.
The Steiff stuffed animals story begins in the city of Giengen an der Brenz in Germany, circa 1880.
Margarete Steiff, a wheelchair seamstress, toy animals made of his own creations as a hobby.
She has designed and created cute animals, such as cats, dogs, pigs and elephants.
Society as we know it today began when Margarete nephew Richard Steiff invented the first bear with jointed limbs in 1902.
This bear has quickly become popular in the United States and around the world, as it has won first place at the Universal Exposition in St. Louis in 1904.
It later became known as Bear Teddy, named after President Teddy Roosevelt.
Steiff is well known for its high quality stuffed animals, and they are always produced today in the city of Giengen.
Today Giengen is the location of the plant and Steiff Museum Adventure and the city is a mecca for fans who are collectors and stuffed animals.
The museum traces the history of products and shop Gift sells bears, replicas of animal products increased, the historical catalogs and porcelain.
Steiff Classic Range is the high range of products, handmade with the Steiff stuffed animals, wildlife, farm animals and the famous bear.
Many models are said to date from the early 1900s.
There is also a bear with a sewn on the heart of Valentine, which makes a romantic gift.
The range also includes characters from Beatrix Potter stories including Peter Rabbit and the hedgehog Mrs. Tiggy Winkle.
Another favorite of children is available, Paddington Bear, with his trademark hat and blue duffle coat red.
Most babies Steiff animals are created with babies and toddlers in mind.
Crafted from high quality, durable materials, the collection includes kittens, puppies and lambs.
Selections Animal by Steiff Cozy are machine washable. Other products in the line include clothing, bags, key chains and gift sets designed specifically for children.
Another collection is the large selection Steiff Limited Edition that highlights a rose gray and a replica of the teddy bear class World 1908.

This range also has a Rupert Bear Plush, another favorite character of storybooks.
